environmental and health issues.

What is Greenspace?
The term greenspace
describes all vegetated land with in towns and villages. Planning Advice Note
65 has categorised greenspace into: Public parks and gardens; Public building
grounds, such as schools, hospitals; Amenity greenspace, such as open space in
housing areas; Playspace for children and teenagers; Sports areas; Green
corridors, such as cycle ways; Natural/semi-natural greenspaces, such as woods
and beaches; Other functional greenspaces, such as cemeteries, allotments; Civic
space, such as promenades.
